Chris Sutton has claimed that Leicester City "really need" a victory over Manchester United on Thursday after a difficult start to the 2022/23 season.
Brendan Rodgers' side have lost three successive games after failing to beat 10-men Chelsea on Saturday. The defeat at Stamford Bridge means City sit rock bottom of the Premier League table with only one point.
The Foxes welcome Man United to the King Power Stadium this week looking to earn their first victory of the season and take them out of the relegation zone. Erik ten Hag's side have won their last two games following two defeats to Brighton and Brentford.
With City still yet to make any outfield signings, Sutton has insisted they 'really, really need' all three points on Thursday night. However, the BBC Sport pundit has predicted a 2-1 defeat for Rodgers' side.
"How do you call this? Manchester United got over the line against Southampton but Leicester need this. They really, really need this," he said in his BBC Sport Predictions.
