MTV's 2022 VMA Awards is being held at the New Jersey's Prudential Center in Newark on August 28 with the stars arriving on the red carpet starting at 6.30 p.m. ET.

Leading the nominations are Doja Cat, Harry Styles, and Jack Harlow with eight nominations each. They are closely followed by Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X with seven nods each.

Grammy-winner Billie Eilish has five nominations to her name, including Best Longform Video. Joining Eilish with five nominations are Drake, BTS, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift.

Nicki Minaj, LL Cool J, and Harlow will be co-hosting the ceremony in a break from tradition. The ceremony is usually hosted by just one person, so things will look a little different this year.

The MTV VMA's have been home to some of the most iconic moments in pop culture (good and bad) including Lady Gaga's meat dress, Madonna and Britney Spears's kiss, and the moment Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift on stage.

Emanating from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj, and Jack Harlow host the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards!

The VMAs always seem to include a medley of must-see moments, and this year’s show is no different. Not only will the Red Hot Chili Peppers receive the prestigious Global Icon Award, but Nicki Minaj has earned the Video Vanguard Award. Plus, they’re both performing live! Other performers at the 2022 MTV VMAs include a hotly anticipated Eminem and Snoop Dogg team up, Bad Bunny taking the stage live from Yankee Stadium, and a slew of can’t miss musical moments from Anitta, BLACKPINK, J Balvin, Jack Harlow, Kane Brown, Lizzo, Måneskin, Marshmello x Khalid, and Panic! At The Disco. A full list of 2022 VMAs nominees can be found on
